Oriole cafe has continued to build its brand around her art and love for coffee, with Oriole’s growing participation with its local community, it feels like a “kampung spirit” amidst all these activities. I felt that it would be apt to create an artwork that emphasises and plays with this theme, to create “The Oriole Village”, building on the establishment and spirit of Oriole.

‘The Oriole Village’ artwork would feature Oriole cafe as a inspirational hub where the community gathers to unwind over a cup of coffee and food. It is also a place where artists and musicians come together to share their love for craft and passion in the village. Instilling quirkiness to the characters and activities that surround the artwork, resulting in added fun to the brand and space.
